Coronavirus Pandemic

CHANGES DURING CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

All consultations will be by appointment only for the duration of the outbreak

All patients will have to answer questions when requesting an appointment to ascertain if they have any risk of Coronavirus (any respiratory symptoms or fever). All patients will then be called back by one of the GPs to arrange suitable care.

This might include:

  • Referral for testing without seeing the GP
  • Referral to hospital without seeing the GP
  • For face to face appointment with the GP
  • For video or telephone consult with the GP

We will be operating a closed door policy – nobody is allowed on the GP floor without prior arrangement/phonecall

We will be limiting patients in the waiting room to 1 at a time,if at all possible. You may be asked to remain in your car and then called in when the doctor is ready to see you.

Please note that these are unprecedented times. We as GPs will do our best to help everyone but we ask you for your help and understanding in return.

PLEASE RESPECT THESE CHANGES AS WE ATTEMPT TO PROTECT THE MOST VULNERABLE PATIENTS (THE ELDERLY AND THOSE WITH UNDERLYING ILLNESSES)
